Junior Winter Camp In PLUS NEW DATES:  January 30 – Feb. 1, 2009 Camp Elk River

You are invited to attend the Junior Winter Camp In PLUS 2009 at Camp Elk River located north of Elk River. 

The badges that will be earned include:    

4th graders:  Making Hobbies ~  Minnesota Nice ~  Winter Fun  ~  The Choice is Yours 5th/6th graders:  Making Hobbies ~  Minnesota Nice ~  Winter Fun  ~  IPP (Cadette badge):  Sports for Life   

Cost is $40 per girl and $35 per adult   Registration forms, fees, and patch contest forms are due by Monday, November 3rd by mailing them to:   Mary Neumann 16411 Dysprosium Street NW Ramsey, MN  55303   There will be planning meeting on Monday, October 13th after the GS Leaders meeting around 8 p.m. 

IF YOUR TROOP IS PLANNING ON ATTENDING, YOU MUST HAVE A LEADER OR PARENT ATTEND.  We need help with the kitchen, for cross country skiing/snowshoeing, and for badge activities.   Swaps will also be encouraged – What is a swap?  “Special Watchamacallits Affectionately Pinned Somewhere.”  Girl Scouts “swap” these items with each other during the first evening.  Check out the website:  swapaholic.info/swaps.html for ideas.  It‘s best to have five or more for each girl to swap and a little variety within your troop so not everyone trades the same thing.
