All Campers will appreciate the world around them while having fun through special speakers, crafts, swimming, projects and earning a badge.  

7TH Grade Cadettes will be staying overnight on Wednesday, July 15th.  As a part of their program, they will complete “Basic Aide Training” enabling them to become a “caddie” next year at camp and JWCI.  

Camp Bus Transportation is available at the Central Park parking lot in Ramsey (New Location).  Approximate pickup is 8:00 am and drop-off is 5:00 - 5:15 pm.

You can register your own child (ren) and one girl buddy per child  

Early Registration:  Full-time volunteers and their daughters (and buddies) are eligible for early registration.  We will accept early registrations at the GS Leader meeting on Monday, April 13 from 7 – 8 p.m.   

Cookie Credits/Grants:  Any GIRL cookie credits (not TROOP) that are not expired will be accepted. Vouchers will be handed out at the clinic for 2009 Cookie Credits. Anyone in need of financial assistance is encouraged to apply.  Please complete the Grant for Girls application form and bring it with you to registration.   

Registration Deadline:  If day camp does not fill up at the registration clinic, mail in registrations will be accepted on a first come, first served basis until registration is filled or until the deadline on May 11th.

 If Camp Fills Up at the clinic, a lottery drawing will take place.  All 4-day volunteers are guaranteed a spot along with their child and their child’s buddy.  Mail-in registrations will not be accepted in the event of a lottery.  All campers will be confirmed by April 25th in the event of a lottery.  

Refund and Cancellation Policy:  Requests for cancellations must be in writing to Mary Neumann no later than June 1, 2009.  Cancellations requested after June 1st will not be refundable.  Refunds prior to June 1st will only be made if another girl can fill your spot. ===============================  


What is a Caddie?  Caddies are girls in grades 8 – 12 who assist at camp in various ways depending on their age, training, and experience.  Girls in grade 7 will become a caddie with training provided during camp.  

Adult Volunteers are needed as unit staff, first aiders, and program support.  Our camp is 100% volunteer planned and staffed. Camp can’t happen without the generous donation of time from volunteers!  All adults are encouraged to volunteer to make camp a success for all of our children.   

Volunteers receive a free camp T-shirt.  Anyone volunteering all 4 days will receive a $65.00 discount on the registration fee of one girl.  The application must include Volunteer Application & Health History, along with daughter’s registration & health history.  

All volunteer staff will be expected to become a registered Girl Scout if not already a member ($10 membership fee; membership information available at www.girlscoutsrv.org ) and to attend Day Camp training.
